How do I organise a two-person podcast session?
A practical plan for the conversation, technical setup, studio time and budget.
NEWWAVE’s podcast room is available only at Volodymyrska, 69 in central Kyiv and is for two participants: a host and guest or two co-hosts. Two microphones are planned; models will be confirmed. Rental is approximately UAH 1500/hour, minimum two hours. Cameras, operator, editing, streaming platform are agreed separately.
Choose the format and deliverables
Prepare the topic, guest introduction, main questions and ending. Two co-hosts should agree who leads each section. A plan keeps the conversation focused without making it stiff.
Choose audio, video, social clips or live streaming. Each changes the technical brief. A room and two microphones do not automatically include cameras or video editing.
Agree the technical brief before booking
For a live stream, prepare the platform and test sound before going live. Agree who starts the broadcast, whether a local recording is needed and who delivers final files.

Calculate the rental
A two-hour rental is approximately 1500 × 2 = UAH 3000. Additional work is quoted separately. The finished episode’s length differs from rental time: setup, checks and retakes need time too.
