How much does it cost to record a song in Kyiv?
Choose between hourly tracking, recording with mixing and mastering, and a complete production.
NEWWAVE recording, mixing and mastering starts at UAH 5500 per track. Original arrangement starts at $350; a complete track starts at $1300. Vocal tracking is UAH 2000/hour with a two-hour minimum. Mixing and mastering for hourly sessions are separate.
Start with the material you already have
Have an instrumental and a rehearsed vocal? Consider recording, mixing and mastering. Have a melody or demo but need an original musical foundation? Start with arrangement. For production from concept to finished audio, choose a complete track.
Hourly tracking is for recording lead vocals, doubles and backing vocals. An hour in the studio does not necessarily produce a finished release: preparation, parts and takes all affect the time required.
Read the estimate correctly
Two hours of vocal tracking: 2000 × 2 = UAH 4000, with mixing and mastering separate. Two tracks in the recording/mixing/mastering package start at 5500 × 2 = UAH 11,000. These are different scopes, so comparing only the totals is misleading.
The calculator keeps the package’s original currency. UAH and USD are not automatically added or converted. Distribution, radio promotion and artist development require a separate quote.
